Honeywell Expands Engineering Center in Mexico City

Honeywell, a company specializing in technology for industries, is expanding its Research and Development Center for Technological Solutions located in Tecnoparque, Mexico City.With an investment of over 160 million pesos to date, the company aims to attract local talent and strengthen its commitment to the country. 

The expansion of the center is a testament to Honeywell's trust in Mexico and its human capital. Manuel Macedo, President and CEO of Honeywell Latin America, emphasizes the importance of opening doors to more professionals and new generations of engineers, especially in a challenging economic landscape.

Currently, the center has a population of over 600 engineers working on technology for all of Honeywell's business units at a regional and global level. It is projected that an additional 200 hires will be made in the coming months. The expansion involves enlarging the existing building to over 2,400 m2 and includes 500 m2 dedicated to laboratories, 16 meeting rooms, a cafeteria, and collaborative spaces. 

Additionally, a Center of Experience in building technologies will be established.The new facilities will be equipped with state-of-the-art workstations and relaxation spaces to foster an environment conducive to innovation.
