Kimball Electronics will inaugurate its second operations plant in Reynosa, Tamaulipas. The new plant has already created 400 jobs, with a long-term goal of reaching 1,500. The company invested $46 million in this expansion.
Currently, Kimball Electronics has a total area of 227,000 square feet, with 147,000 square feet dedicated to manufacturing. With the addition of the new facility, their presence in the city will expand by 240,000 square feet.
Kimball Electronics, originally from Jasper, Indiana, has been operating in Reynosa, Tamaulipas for 50 years. They specialize in manufacturing electronic assemblies for the automotive, medical, industrial, and public safety sectors.
