Sephora is back on track with its expansion plans in Mexico as it inaugurates its 29th store nationwide. It's important to note that the beauty chain, owned by LVMH, had announced a 150 million pesos investment in 2021 to open five new stores in the country by 2022.

As part of this exciting project, Sephora landed in Monterrey on Friday, June 3rd, to open its doors on the ground floor of the Galerías shopping center. However, this is not Sephora's first venture in the city of Monterrey. The beauty, cosmetics, and perfume chain first made its entrance into the market in 2017 with a store at the Fashion Drive complex. Two years later, in 2019, Sephora returned to Monterrey and joined the directory of Punto Valle

The opening at Galerías Monterrey is also a significant milestone in the ambitious project of the French chain, which aims to have 60 physical stores nationwide in the next five years.
