Coahuila continues to solidify itself as one of the prime destinations for foreign investment with the announcement of the inauguration of the SkyJack plant in Chuy María Industrial Park, located in the municipality of Ramos Arizpe.

The Canadian OEM is arriving in the region to cater to the North American and domestic markets with its aerial platform products, serving various industries such as construction, manufacturing, and mining.

This project required an investment of $80 million and will directly generate 600 new jobs. According to Ken McDougall, the company's president, this number could potentially increase in the coming months as the expansion of their initial operations was announced during the opening event.

Furthermore, Alejandro Klancewicz, the General Manager of SkyJack in Mexico, mentioned that they will begin production with 12 units per day of five, eight, and 12 tons. However, they anticipate completing their expansion process by October and aim to reach a daily production capacity of 55 units.

From the moment they kickstart their activities, they will have the capacity to export their products to Asia and Europe. It was also revealed that there is high demand within Mexico, with approximately 200 pending orders.
