The adoption of e-commerce in Mexico will remain strong after the pandemic, according to PayPal. It is estimated that 69% of Mexicans will continue to make online purchases, with an average spending of over 1,500 pesos. In 2020, e-commerce experienced an 81% growth compared to the previous year, reaching total sales of 316 billion pesos. This sector represents 9% of the total retail in Mexico.
